Before launching D Wheeler Consulting, I spent two years managing the day-to-day finance function for a non-profit — full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, monthly board reporting, financial statement preparation, and audit support for the entire organization. That experience is the foundation of what I offer. I understand fund and grant tracking, restricted funds, board-facing reporting, and the standards non-profits are held to, because I've done the work from the inside.
